Ascent Postponement/Deferment Request Form

Complete this form if you are experiencing financial difficulties (including, unemployment/underemployment deferment, if applicable) which prevent you from making the required payments on your loan(s). Postponement/deferment is granted at the lender’s/loan owner’s discretion. Postponement/deferment is provided as an exception to making required regular monthly payments, and there are a maximum number of months of postponement/deferment allowed for the life of your loan. If your account is delinquent, the postponement/deferment can be used retroactively to cover a period of delinquency and will count towards the maximum months of postponement allowed.
