Vice President Trust Administration, Controller & Treasurer
Lisa brings over sixteen years of experience including fourteen years in the student loan industry. As Vice President, Trust Administration, Lisa is responsible for the management and oversight of $18 billion of student loan assets spread across over 75 trust structures. Management of the trusts includes producing monthly surveillance reports, issue orders and financial statements, maintaining the books and records, and managing the administration of the Trust Accounts in accordance with the terms of the trust related agreements. As Controller and Treasurer, Lisa directs financial aspects of the business to include the Company’s financial reporting, accounting practices, internal controls, and leads the interactions with the company’s auditors and tax consultants. Prior to GS2, Lisa was the Financial Reporting Manager at Goal Financial, LLC for 4 years and the Accounting Manager at College Loan Corporation, where in both roles she was responsible for growing the accounting department, implementing policies and procedures, and preparing monthly financial statements. Lisa graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Riverside with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and finance. She is a licensed CPA in the state of California and passed all four parts of the California CPA exam in her first sitting.
